Notes
Mallee or tree to 10m tall. Bark rough below, smooth above. Oil glands in the branchlet pith. Leaves aromatic when crushed, alternating up the stems. Leaves 4.8-12cm long, 8-25mm wide, flat, hairless, dull and pale or occasionally glossy green. Bud caps shorter than the base. Flowers white, with 0 petals, in clusters of 3-13 at the bases of the leaves. Buds and nuts often with longitudinal lines or ribs. Nut valves not very noticeable.
